Burzenski & Company, PC donated 20 cosmetic bags with nail polish, tissues, lotion, hand sanitizer, facial mask, lip gloss and Dunkin Donuts gift cards to Life Haven Women's Shelter in New Haven. Life Haven, a part of New Reach, Inc., provides temporary shelter to families with a female head of household and women who are eight months pregnant. Employees Kathleen Hunt (l) and Gail Cable (r) assembled the bags with items they purchased and items donated items by employee Megan Hannon. On May 9, Gail Cable (l) and Mary Murphy (r) delivered the cosmetic bags to Life Haven to coincide with Mother's Day.
This donation is part of our 35 for 35 campaign - a celebration of the firms' 35th year anniversary. It represents Burzenski & Company's commitment to volunteerism, completing small but powerful actions throughout the year and to supporting our business commitment to non-profit organizations.
